Athletic track (under construction)

Work is underway to build an athletic track in Mrkopalj. The start of the works was attended by the representatives of the Croatian Athletic Association, the Croatian Olympic Committee, the county deputy prefect of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the head of the Mrkopalj municipality. The track is located at 825 m above sea level and is one of the projects that is very important for Croatian Athletic Association, especially in the summer, when it can serve as an ideal summer athletic centre for the preparation of junior athletic selections and all athletic clubs.
